Kamil Zywert and twin brother Marek have combined for 33 points to lead Poland past the Czech Republic 89-77 at the Dadu U16 European Championship Men.

The brothers were integral in the win with Kamil being the main instigator, scoring 22 points and providing six assists whilst Marek chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds. Grzegorz Kulka helped out with 18 points.

It was a high-tempo start from Arkadiusz Miloszewski's team who went on a 16-3 run to open up a 10-point gap by the end of the opening quarter.

At half-time the lead remained at 10 points but when Kamil hit a pair of free-throws before following it up with a three-pointer to begin the second half, Poland were able to breath a little easier.

Matej Svoboda provided another big offensive performance for the Czech Republic, scoring 19 points.

The win gives Poland the last second round spot that was up for grabs in Group D. The winless Czech Republic now head to the relegation round where they will fight to remain in Division A for next season.
