Paul Rigot came up big for Latvia with 17 points and 11 rebounds

France restricted Latvia's offense to just 14 first-half points as they secured their place in the Qualifying Round.

Paul Rigot registered a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Arthur Rozenfeld added 16 points.

Rolands Smits led Latvian scorers with 13 points.

France opened the game with a 13-0 run and stretched the lead to 21, with 12 points from Rigot in the first half.

Latvia attempted to come back, and went on an 8-2 run in the third quarter, but the lead was already too large. Rozenfeld added 9 points in the last quarter to secure the win.

Latvia will join France in the Qualifying Round, having already beaten Lithuania and Ukraine.
